This age group now has their own classes on
Wednesdays and Sundays!!

This is a great transition class for kids
ready to move out of the Tiny Tiger Program. 
(Pee Wee classes are by monthly tuition not per semester.)

Placement and participation in classes depend on
age, weight and ability of students at the discretion of the instructors.

Approximate ages for classes are as follows:
Tiny Tiger Judo: 4 - 5 years
Pee Wee Judo: 6 -7 years
Children's Judo:  7 - 9 years
Youth Judo:  9 - 12 years
Teens/Seniors: 13+ years

KJA Annual Membership/Facility Dues :
(Applies only to students with more than 1 month of membership)

Kokushikai Judo Academy takes great pride in the fact that we are able to keep our tuition rates very affordable for our members. Students also have the confidence that our instructors are dedicated to the dojo on a full time basis, not as a hobby.  Kokushikai is one of the only schools that does not charge for every rank of student promotions.  New members quickly discover the quality experience of training in such a pristine, clean dojo for the number of students that train here. But in order to maintain such high standards in our facility and maintain the quality of training for our Members, $85 is collected in annual membership/facility dues with a maximum of $155 per family of 2 or more members. Returning members are responsible for the annual FMF upon their return if not paid already in that calendar year.  No dues are collected if the student has not been a member for more than 1 months. 

Family Discounts

Family Member Program:
Second family member receives 10% off monthly fee as long as first family member is enrolled.
Third family member receives 15% off monthly fee as long as first and second family members are enrolled.
Fourth family member receives 20% off monthly fee as long as first, second and third family members are enrolled.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are also available and are good for many reasons but are more costly per hour than the group classes.
  
Below are common reasons that people enroll in private lessons:

1.  Acquire a base of skills and confidence before you enter the group judo class.

2.  Practice in a super-controlled environment at your own pace under supervision.

3.  Develop strategy for your specific body type against trouble opponents.

4.  Get the extra edge in training for a tournament you have coming up.

5.  Understand judo applications as they apply to other combative situations such as BJJ, no-gi fighting,
     self-defense or police tactics.


                                   One hour private lesson (one person):  $150

                                   (Packages of 5 or 10  lessons can be purchased in advance at discounted rates.)
