Tamara Hemingway, Kokushikai Judo Academy Member and Competition Team Player, was recently awarded the 2010 Outstanding Master Athlete Award for her performance in judo during 2010. The award is presented by the National Governing Body for the Sport of Judo in the United States of America as recognized by the US Olympic Committee. At age 50 in the -63kg Category, Tami continues to improve and challenge herself and her opponents every time she steps onto the mat.

Tamara Hemingway captures Silver in the -63kg Female Masters F5 category and captures Bronze in the over 50yrs Female Masters Open category
Cindy Simon secured her spot on the Visually Impaired Women's -52kg division. She will represent the United States on the Para Pan American Team later this year. Cindy also took Gold in the -52kg Masters 40-44yr category and Bronze in the combined 48-52kg/35-44yr category.
Jim Perry took Silver in the -90kg Male Masters M6 category and 5th Place in the Men's +50yr Open division.
