I come from Stratford Connecticut which is home to the Brakettes by far and away the greatest organization for women's softball. They have won world Championship after championship . Their players have represented the US and won in the Olympics and at the Pan Am games. That said they draw crowds numbered in the hundreds. No interest or support countrywide for pro softball.
Not enough interest. There IS a professional women's fast pitch softball league, NPF but right now there are only 4 teams..
not enough interest in the female population. There are many other goals for ladies to choose that are more in line with what society thinks womens would be best in. So take it up with your lady friends, don't blame us nice innocent males.
Because not enough people are willing to pay to see it for it to make enough money as a business. No money = no profit = no chance.
Because they wouldn't make money, there is no interest in it.
I know there are pro teams in other countries but why cant we have pro softball teams like they do with baseball, (a team for every major city)?
