You may say this is a stupid question and I agree. However, we all complain about the product. We all see what's coming next months in advance. But we still tune in every Monday to see what's going to happen next. Do we do it to see how much worse it can get? After every Raw and not specifically on here, I see the complaints of Raw being the worst and that creative is getting more lazy, but we still tune in. Does WWE put in some hypnotic message in their program that makes us addicted? Sounds weird, but what if? We all want a better program and we all say cancel wwe network, stop watching the show, stop going to the show. We still watch the network and tune in on mondays along with buying our tickets when the shows roll into town. Why do we do it? Now I'm not saying don't watch, but I'm thinking. I've been watching wrestling since 2003 and collected wrestlers, bought shirts, bed sets, tickets and tuned in every Monday and Friday as I grew up during the Ruthless Aggression and PG Eras. I've only started to think that the product sucked last year and reading forums and other online sites, I realized it sucked way before that, but I was a kid, so I didn't know better. I can almost say the IWC ruined wrestling for me, but it only made me look at it from a different perspective. I didn't stop watching it when I came to this realization. I still buy shirts, tune in and go to the shows and I'm sure I'll be doing it until the day WWE closes shop. Like I said, I'm only thinking.
I believe people watch bad wrestling TV, because its the nearest thing to what people actually want to watch, good wrestling TV.
Like many TV shows WWE comes close to the sort of entertainment we wish to watch. But instead of hitting the mark regularly like it used to, its quality has largely fallen off a cliff.
Anybody who watches the show knows WWE could fix the quality issues as quick as the next episode, and many people wait for that day to arrive. But many others move on to the alternatives, whether that be mma, or another wrestling show.
As a viewer there is no real power to change anything, but we all know that new writers/bookers, better builds/pay offs, or a direct competitor to WWE, are the only way we will see improvement.
There is still some good stuff going on, good to see sting back in the ring, when lesnar is kicking *** that is pretty cool too.
I'll admit, the build up hasn't been as good as it should be for wrestlemania, but I know all the matches wwe has booked and it should be a decent show.
Because I like watching the cool moves and the people fighting.
The People whine, but they'll continue to watch.
people are just rude
