The Red Sox will win in 6 games.
Well I am a Redsox fan so I am rooting for the Sox but that doesn't mean that they are a lock to win. A lot has to happen for them to win. First, the Cardinals have better starting pitching but the Sox have just proved that they can beat pitching (Detroit which has a way better staff) however STL has a better bullpen. Boston needs to take advantage of Fenways outfield and the outfielders for STL. Now STL has an advantage as they get to add Allan Craig as DH while when we go to the NL Nap or Ortiz has to sit. Bostons bats need to liven up to where they were before the Detroit series and the bullpen needs to be lights out like recently. Also don't underestimate STL as they are like the Sox and they grind it out to the end with the likes of Matt Carpenter, Beltran, Molina, starting pitching, bullpen. Freese has to step up or there is no way. And Please keep playing Bogarts, maybe give Drew a day off or keep using him at 3rd base. The kid has scored in every game hes played and been on base 7 out of 10 times whether walk or hit.

Boston Strong is alive. Your team can't win against these odds. Sox in six. EDIT:Not being cocky. This is out and out gloating over a genetically inferior team and fan base. Although, it's the second best fanbase in baseball. Gloating is fun and genetically superior Red Sox Nation is very good at it. We gloat because we win. Boston Strong.
just look at the cardinals. down to their final strike twice and cameback and won. both teams are amazing in the pitching department, but the cards have an edge in that category. boston has home field advantage. and I may be into superstitions and all and I have a feeling boston will win just because of the bombing incident the whole boston strong thing is coming together. yea boston scored more runs but bush stadium is the hardest place to hit homeruns while in fenway that left field is so short which I think means way more doubles and what not.. it will be very close. I cant even predict it. but im a cardinals fan so as difficult as it is to say, the birds win it in 7. beltran wants a ring so bad. and he deserves one. the al gets to have dh hit for their pitchers which is such an advantage. cards bullpen has martinzes seigrist Rosenthal mujica etc.. most those guys average out at 99 mph it seems. im stickin with the birds. cardinal nation!!!
Wainwright and Wacha will pitch in 4 games against the Red Sox and should prove to be too much for the Red Sox to deal with. Cardinals in 6 games.
Koji Uehara is going to be the reason the sox win the world series. sox pitching isn't that great but their batting is better then the cardinals. I think its going to come down to game 7
