I have to say the nationals. They put a dependable and consistent person in every single day, with essentially 3 aces and a #2 in Fister. The 5th spot will be a battle among 3 very talented pitchers, but I see Roark as winning it. Roark pitched with a 1.50 era for 2 months last season, he is good. I could see how somebody might argue the Dodgers, but nobody knows what Haren will bring as a #4. He was aweful with the Nats last year. Other notable teams include the Braves, Rays, Tigers and Cardinals.
The Nationals
Oakland A's have a underrated pitching staff. Sonny Gray is the league's future. He is similar to a young Tim Hudson, Fastball, Spliter combo.
There's a few teams in the mix, but I'm going to go the less popular route and say the Nationals. Top three is rock solid with Strasburg, Zimmermann, and Gonzalez, and adding Fister puts them over the top for me. Bullpen is solid as well. Dependable veteran closer in Soriano, with excellent bridge guys in Clippard and Storen.
Other teams that were close for me would be Detroit, St. Louis, and the Dodgers.
Giants, Cardinals, & Red Sox.
Gnats, Dodgers, Tigers....and later in year, Mets!!
Reds of course
Cardinals. Many young stars that will be even better than last year.
