Trout.

Hard to build a team around a pitcher, who only plays once every 5 days. On the other hand a young 5 tool player like Mike Trout will be making an impact in MLB lineups most days for the next 10-15 years. Trout is the obvious choice, the only two players who would even come close are Manny Machado or Bryce Harper.

Aren't you suppose to build your dynasty around pitching? Not a pitcher on your list. Are Harvey or Wheeler good enough to build around ? The Mets sure hope so. I Remember (i'm sure you have forgotten) the time the Mets had the minor league pitching Tapini ,Aguella Apier Traschell heck even had Bill Pulzhifer lol. Many different years but every it was announce this was the greatest staff. Heck even had Sid Finch. I remember Sis Fernandez(no hit stuff every time he took the mound) being credited with he will pitch at least 3 no-no before he done tag.The Braves had all the pitching plus hitting got one ring. Maddux,Glavine, Smoltz and Avery. Some reason Pitching doesn't keep you as a champ. Yankees had the pitching 1996-1999 but the bats carried them to 4 WS in 5 years oh and the bullpen.

That said give me Mike Trout and see us in October 5 tools Willie Mays clone. Puig and Harper accidents ready to hit a wall. The hot corner Machado my second choice always was a Brooks Robinson fan.
