Where do you see the Orioles finishing this year?

I say either third of fourth with Toronto bringing up the rear. What do you think?

The AL east might look like this:

New York 97-66

Boston 92-70

Tampa Bay 88-74

Toronto- 85-77

Baltimore 80-82

You see the AL east is highly competive. the AL east is so strong that it can beat up on all of the AL centeral and the team in the west(with the exception of oakland and texaxs). Baltimore might be able to finish .500 but with the al east being so good it might me hard

Well lets look at this systematically, what teams do they have to compete with in the AL East? They compete with the Red Sox, Rays, Blue Jays and Yankees. I personally do not see the Yankees or Blue Jays being very competitive so this leaves the Sox, Rays and O's for the third spot. The O's were very competitive last season before the All Star break but fell apart after the All Star break. If the O's can put together a full season of competitive baseball in 2014 I do not see why they can not finish in 2nd or 3rd place.

There are too many intangibles to pick them 1st, 3rd or 5th. It depends on what new players come along and exceed expectations on all five teams plus injuries, or faked injuries, like how many Orioles or Blue Jays will want to take a 30 day vacation on the DL. It's impossible to predict. You just have to let the season unfold. All five teams have a equal shot, yes, even the Blue Jays. The only thing certain is the Orioles will finish 1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th. If they ever become as good as they were in 1966 and 1969,70,71 and 1979, then you could predict a first place finish this year, they ain't that good yet.

Because the O's will not qualify for the playoffs, I see them finishing this year in Toronto playing the last game of the regular season vs. the Blue Jays.

Any one of the teams in the AL East can win the division this year, and for that matter, any one of them could finish last, an I wouldn't rule out the 5th place team being over .500 either.

Fourth

They have the potential to finish 2nd, also the potential to finish last. Depends on how Machado comes back from his injury, also they lost one of the best closers in the game for the last 2 years. I see more minuses than pluses for them coming out of the offseason, think they'll finish 3rd.

They could win the division, but honestly so could any of the other 4 teams in the AL East.

They could win the AL East. They are a good club

They could be terrible, but I also think that they could be Wild Card this year. If all their players stay healthy, like Markakis, Machado, Crash Davis, Weiters, and Jones, they have a great lineup, just not any pitching. But they'll do alright, maybe like 3rd, but a winning record.

I say either third of fourth with Toronto bringing up the rear. What do you think?

I dont see them finshing with any less than 80 wins. they have some real good talent. if everything goes well they could get up to 95 wins. if they fall apart nothing less than 80. just remeber they play in the toughest divsion. the blue jays cant get worse, rays and redsox will be the same and i hate to say it but the yanks r gonna be better. there a real tough call. they should be good.

GO REDSOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Somewhere in the AL East

Fifth, right behind the Steinwienies.
