When should hair vs hair matches be used?

Sometimes they're used to change a wrestler's appearance like what happened with Jeff Jarrett in 98 or Kurt Angle. Other times to blow off a feud, Rockstar Spud and EC3 just had one on Impact.

When do you think such matches should be used?

hair vs. hair matches should only be used when 2 "pretty boys" are feuding. Shawn Michael's would've been a great fit for one of them. i could see Tyler Breeze having one at some point on the main roster.

but yeah, if you look at history, it is mainly used when someone is going to change their look anyway- Big Show, Jericho, Angle, Nash, etc. that really defeats the purpose of the match. it should be used to humiliate someone. that's why the McMahon/Trump hair match at WM 23 worked so well. Vince was totally humiliated.

most of the time a Hair match is scheduled when one of the Talent is looking to change up their Look...

-- Angle, Show, Punk

and it's no coincidence Show and Angle lost those matches almost 10 years ago and are still Bald... they were obviously going bald and opted for Cue ball vs. receding hairline

Rumor has it Eddie G. got in trouble for cutting his Mullet off w/o asking Vince

With TNA they tend to over use those type matches which make them meaningless but like Kurt lost to Edge I think that was Angle was going Bald anyway so he didn't mind.

Like a lot of the guys do

nikki bella vs naomi..nikki loses
