Bonds, however, put up a performance that was historical and epic. Rant all you like about PEDs (and there surely were chemicals coursing through Anaheim veins), Bonds was a wrecking machine like no other.
He took a 400cc hit of steroids twice a week while he was playing but the boy never had a batting average of .400, or better, and he never won a Triple Crown. Bonds didn't care about stats or helping his team win; he juiced for the money.
