a long time ago friend of mine talked back to our teacher before and he kicked him out of class, they could take your belt from you but probably wont because they still have a business to run but if a person were to say no to his or her master inside the boundaries of the school that don't affect you dangerously then it's very disrespectful and in my school i would work them until they forgot the word no, if they still remember it they can leave and not come back.

Instructor not master:) and respect should be earned and not be demanded through ranking and authority.

Having said that....

In reality if for each time that someone said no to to a teacher he/she had a stripe stripped off or being asked to leave, then no school would have any students...

From the other hand if you want to avoid something just tell him/her that you do not want to do this for this reason...or no not me or not now type of an attitude with a smile or something, you do not need to shout no sir in the class you know.

Both attitudes, teachers expect robots and students being not polite on the ways to say no...hm.... they probably are going to go separate ways soon.:)

When I taught formal classes and such I did not have time for students that said no to things reguarding their training. Unless they had some real justification or reason behind it then they were just wasting my time and theirs. Then they were sent on their way to train someplace else and waste one of my competitor's time. It did not happen much or often and sometimes there was some justification behind it and then of course things were handled differently by me. There were a few students that found this out the hard way though and they usually quickly dropped out of martial arts while training someplace else as well then.

You should not bring an immature attitude such as that into the dojo.

Your "crush" tells me you are there for the wrong reasons, and are disruptive to the class.

I would only warn you once, then you would be seeking another teacher who let students run their class.

I run my own classes, not my students.

The world would implode into your dojo creating a super hot and super condensed matter that’ll be too much for the space to contain causing a huge explosion outwards. This’ll recreate the universe where such a student wouldn’t exist, and the world would be restored back into balance.

So I was doing a karate class with my crush and he was teaching the lesson. There was this one exercise that I really liked doing and he said maybe next time. I said,"No, Sir," He finally agreed and later that day we were talking and I asked what would have happened if I said no sir to the Master if he was there that day? He said he didn't know. So I was wondering: what would happen if I said no sir to the teacher. I heard that you could get your stripe/belt taken stripped off of you. So I want a story of you saying no sir to the teacher and what happened. I know this is potentially dangerous, bit I was wondering if you ever were a teacher, what would you do?
