The WWE Booking Team has not forgotten this storyline, it has just taken a twist. Don't be surprised if Goldust causes Goldust to lose The Intercontinental Title Ladder Match and this rivalry continues and may result in a big match at WWE SummerSlam in August.
I guess wwe didn't want the match to happen at wrestlemania, it looks like stardust will be competing in the ic championship match instead of continuing a feud with goldust, but like others said, maybe goldust will get involed.
