It is old and very effective.
That is dependant on instruction, as in all arts.
It is as good as the combination of student/teacher.
The arts are all the same that way.
As a fighting style it will always come down to the proficiency of the practitioner. Personally it has saved my behind more than once. I found it to be a very effective and efficient style...
there is a lot of styles of japanese jujutsu too many even to list.
they are all great styles, and well rounded
edit
wow kw goes to 1 style out of over 300 and trains under 1 instructor out of the millions
well going by this example kw all mma schools have no contact fighting, the three schools by me that teach mma have no contact fighting so by kw logic no mma school has awareness training or contact. after all we only need t go to one school to judge everything
I don't really know enough about it to discuss it's intricacies, but i know enough to respect it as an effective art.
It's good but I don't know alot about it extensively.
ive been doing it a while and just wanted some people views on it as a fighting style (martial art)
