WRESTLING SECTION: Is Destination America hurting TNA?

They only have a little over 500,000 viewers and I haven't heard anything about TNA since they moved to the new network. I cant watch TNA because I dont have the channel. Tna is on their last leg

the problem is not the channel. the problem is how Impact is edited and presented on tv. now usually tv is nothing more than a commercial to sell various products be it the PPV, live events, or videos on demand or on disc. that being said is anybody buying?

again I would like to say if the UK tour is the ONLY fans that TNA has then they should just stay there and never return to the States.

Actually Destination America could have been one of Impact! Wrestling's brightest moves, Yes 50% of homes in America can view the product but Spike.TV never advertised TNA well Destination America does a lot of Advertising for TNA.

It isn't as if TNA executives had options -- ultimately, it came down to this deal or probably trying to stay alive by using the website to air shows as an audition....in hopes of enticing a network to cut a deal, while incurring costs that may not be recouped.

well seeing as how TNA would've been done had Destination America not given them a TV deal i'd have to say no.

Yea its definitely worse to be carried in far fewer homes. Probably only a 3rd of Americans have the highest end cable package that carries it so its harder for people to discover. Also, I think ROH is stepping up, they actually started airing their show late nights on free TV in my area within the past month and its a very good show.

TNA has never needed any help hurting themselves

tna is still around...yeah nobody can watch it. tna is a sinking ship of wwe rejects and indie washups that thinks its still doing better
