Pull that trigger. Cruz's stock is as low as it will be all year, and Welker is walking a tightrope.
If you're getting Cruz, go for it. Even though there's a possibility that Welker could come back sooner than his current suspension, he'll always be an injury risk with the three concussions (two last season and one in the preseason). The NFLPA postponed the vote last night, so as of now, the full 4 game suspension is on. Cruz is a big talent although the Giant passing offense has looked terrible.
Eh, I'd say do it. ESPECIALLY if it's a dynasty league. Even if it's a one year league...I mean Welker may put up bigger numbers, but he also may get popped for another concussion and that's it his career is done. Cruz is Eli's number one target too, while in Denver Peyton has J. Thomas and D. Thomas, and Sanders now too. So I don't know I would do it, but it's close.
