Pujols has reversed some troubling trends early in the season, but still hasn't gotten hot at the plate.
He is hitting the fastball better than he has since 2011 & is doing the best job of laying off of pitches out of the strike zone since 2010.
His home runs per flyball are unsustainably high and he is absolutely crushing curveballs & change ups right now. That has fueled his production so far in 2014.
While this season is better than the last two, he should get better. His batting average on balls-in-play is extremely low.
Well he already said he won't be hitting 500 in Washington, he will cut his stroke down to exclusively line drives(no arch in his swing to hit it out)but he will be trying in NY or the next homestand for 500.
