If you want to switch to different position. Try third or short. It sounds like those are more up your alley. And just work on ground balls. You probably haven't worked with them oh so much being a catcher so focus on grounded back hands forehands.

baseball, the most overrated sport ever

Hi everyone. I'm a sophomore in high school and i catch for my schools baseball team (as well as travel). Ive recently become less enthusiastic about catching and ive become very interested in 2nd base. im 16 years old, about 6 ft and 155 pounds. i have never once played second, ive caught my whole life. is it possible to switch to this position so late in my baseball career? also, what should i do to practice and become better ( if its even possible) thanks!
