Yes I know the priority is starting pitching but I feel that there is also a need for a leadoff hitting outfielder as well. Nick Markakis to me would fill that role well you can lead him off and put him in center with Soler in right and Chris Coglin in left. I don't see Arismendy Alcantara leading off because he does hit enough Markakis is not your typical leadoff hitter in that he can steal but he does put the ball in play and is like Alfonso Soriano a leadoff hitter with power. Also moving forward with Joe Maddon now in the fold the cubs need some veteran players to complement the young guys Markakis could fill that role as well. Besides Scherzer or Lester I would sign Markakis as well.
