Should i do jiu jitsu?

If it is Japanese Jiu Jitsu than go for it. The MCMAP is derived from a couple martial arts. Which extends from the Japanese Jiu Jitsu and Korean Hapkido/KukSool.

MCMAP (Marince Corps Martial Arts Program) draws its techniques from a few different styles, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of them. I'd say go for it, it'll probably help you some.

If you love the Marines then i would say yes. but get a good instructor. i can't mean that enough. the last thing you want is to have a instructor you hate. it's bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbaaaaaaaaddddddd... thats all i can say. the marines can help you get all that with ease though so i would recommend you focus on pleaseing your recruiter and get into the military. they are well orgainized and can help you get the fighting training you need to be well above average in a fight.

Not a bad idea, Judo, Sambo and Aikido are all related martial arts, if you dont like striking moves go for Aikido which is defensive only. Atemi-Jujitsu is the Striking Jujitsu martial art.

Aikido( if there is a club near you that does it) because it is great for real life street fighting and uses techniques from several other martial arts. Also covers more disarmament then jiu-jitsu.

I can't see any reason not to.

Go ahead, why not?

ok i'm a 17yr male and i'm thinking about doing jiu jitsu but i'm not sure cuz i'm not used to getting hit and all that stuff lol but my cousin made me think about it cuz he does it and he's good at it so i'm thinking about it cuz i have a job and i play soccer but i'm going to enlist in the Marine Corps after this year
