It's very hard to tell these days bc of the huge lil kid bases. I have nothing against children learning martial arts but they usually don't learn it the way they should and usually schools with such a large kid base are extremely watered down or train for sport.

But I have never been there or seen videos of them training so I can't judge. If they do full contact sparring then go for it. Do what your heart wants you to do.

Ahh it's a good skill to have. But I went to martial arts and I'm my instructor was a jerk so make sure the person instructing the class is a nice person.

ignore people that claim styles are fraudulent, some people think only mma works and know nothing about martial arts.

Visit the school. Take some free trials. If you like it and the instructor is good, then you should train there. Good luck.
