Should I take Ninjutsu?

It would depend entirely on the training center you attend. If they are serious and legitimate about the principals then it is a highly effective and lethal system. I understand that referencing training centers that are outside the country is not normally feasible, but I do it so you have a reference to a system that is based on legitimate Old World Ninjitsu . The system is referred to as AKBAN, and is currently taught in limited locations, one of which is in Israel. Search for it in your area, but remember,... any Ninjitsu instructor that promises you the sun and moon when you walk in the door is probably not the guy you want to train with. It is the discerning instructor that tells you Ninjitsu is not sport, not used for competition, only for personal defense and the defense of others (even though it was originally an assassin's system), and starts with the basics long before introducing the more extreme principals, would most likely be a legitimate instructor. But you do have to be very cautious when deciding on a school. If it sounds to good to be true, it is too good to be true.

It's not a fraudulent art. People are frauds not styles

It is very difficult to find an instructor that is not a fraud in the style. Or with real training

Hell no! You should not take ninjutsu. Ninjutsu has become one of the most fraudulent styles out there. I don't think I need to explain why anymore. Done it too many times.

Personally, I don't believe any brand of ninjutsu/ninpo, whatever, has the historical provenance it may claim. I think Masaaki Hatsumi cobbled it together in the post WW2 period to make a living. However, if that's your thing, don't let me tell you what to do with your time/money.

I would think that this is just some kind of method to rip off people who want to look cool.

Buuuut if you like it, then you should do it :)

If you like it go for it. You be good at something that's not very useful. Just ask kokoro he enjoys being a complete fraud and bragging about the 30 years of experience he doesn't have.

Joining ninjitsu is like joining the mafia in a way

I have heard that it is fraudulent, due to the "ninja craze," and I was wondering if this one would be good. Thanks. I will give 5 stars to the best answer.
