Should I keep doing Judo?

This is a personal choice and not something that anyone can decide for you. I was studying 3 styles at one time with one as my main style and it is difficult. It is also very rewarding.

This is totally your decision.

Do judo too. I've taught shotokan for over 26yrs and trained in several different arts to add to what i know. I've only gained insight from this. Once you start doing a throwing and grappling art you start seeing stuff in your katas. You will see things that others miss. There are throws and breaks all over the place. Remember that the body can only move so many ways but look at all of the things you can do with that movement. Keep it up. Good luck.

If you have time, you should do both. If you ever need to fight somebody, chances are they won't have the martial arts knowlege that requires black-belt moves to beat them. Also ding 2 martial arts, gives you more flexibility if you need to schedule your training around other stuff.

keep to your best discipline

I've recently got into Judo with the intention of it complimenting my Karate (JKA - Shotokan), before you say it -> I know that's not necessarily the correct reason to take something up but I had the free time and it is kinda fun. Anyway, I'm now able to go to another local karate club (same style/organisation) and train karate on the days I was doing Judo (my Sensei has encouraged me to do so as he works closely with the other club and our clubs grade together). I'm currently 5th Kyu (Purple belt) and don't know 100% what my long term martial arts goals are.

So I guess my real question is as follows: Should I drop the judo in order to train more in my primary style or keep at it and have knowledge in both? Thanks for your time :)
