Should I Learn Martial Arts?

First thing you need to do is to decide on what you want to do. What are your goals? The you can seek obtain your goals.

You should know that self defense is not a sport. MMA is a sport not self defense. Krav maga will not teach you to be a stunt person. Once you know what are goals are you need to do the research to find out how to reach your goals. Then pursue it.

When I started learning self defense techniques as a beginner, I spent a few weeks getting a feel of different styles. I finally settled on Krav Maga and Kickboxing as it suited my built and style. While learning martial arts for self defense, mental preparedness makes your physical technique shine through.

Certain Marshall arts cater for smaller people but basically because of your size and sex you can't afford to get into a fist fight with 2 18 stone men, so the most effective one's for you are the one's not on tv but where you quickly deal with them by dislocating a kneecap or breaking an arm.. look into gojokan karate.

can you justify the monthly fee?

definitely

yup, you should

Im 15 and 165 cm with 44 kg. Yeap im skinny. Basically i love self defense and i want to learn it but i think my physical doest really suit this sport.

Growing up watching stunt movies makes me want to be a stunt woman. Plus, i guess this makes more money than being mma artist.

Okay put that aside.

Since ive made my mind to start gaining some weight and join a bjj&muay thai gym, should i aim for mma? or learn some krav maga and aim for stunts thing? I did apply for boarding school so i dont evn know whether i should join or not. If i go there, then ill have no time to learn all the defense things.

Thank you ???? Sorry if i sound really stupid or whatever, i dont have much knowledge about defense things. Sorry again ????
