Sensei or dojo for using Sais.?

Use Google to find schools near you. Look into the schools and see which ones you like and visit them. We can't just name you one school in your state, you have to find them yourself.

That's a hard one.

Sai is Kobudo and most of the times it is taught together with Okinawan Karate. Be aware that there are also Japanese Karate styles. Stay away from schools that teach competitions as I have yet to see a Sai form in competition that would be useful in a fight. I went to a Sai seminar and it was the biggest hooey I have ever been taught in martial arts. Totally worthless and a complete waste.

Most likely you will start out learning Karate as it is important to get used to stances and movements before adding a weapon. You will also learn other weapons as in partner drills you may go against another weapon and not just Sai vs Sai. You will have to be able to give a partner the same opportunity to train with Sai against another weapon. It is hard to train against another weapon if the other person does not know how to use this weapon.

As for finding a school and a good teacher that is difficult and I am afraid you will have to do a good deal of visiting schools, observing classes and asking lots of questions. Most teachers don't just specialize in just one weapon and if they do it is mostly staff or Katana.

It's called Google. You didn't even tell us where you live, so I'm not sure how you expect an actual answer. But still, you would just be asking other people to do a Google search for you, so you might as well do it yourself.

Use Google Maps.

Type in your zipcode along with terms like: Ryukyu Kobudo; Okinawan Kobudo and use the terms Kobujutsu in exchanged of kobudo.

Saijutsu is an Okinawan weapons training, which is originally of Chinese origin.

Keep in mind that unless the school is a branch of an authentic lineage of Ryukyu/Okinawan Kobudo/Kobujutsu, you will be learning BS.

Many new XMA type places teach nunchaku, bo, tonfa, kama and sai, they are all garbage. Useless made up routines that only look pretty to the untrained.

I'm interested in learning how to fight using Sais. In fact I really wanna learn! Does anybody know a of a dojo that can teach me, or a sensei? Preferably in or near Iowa. Anything would be helpful. But not a video. I would appreciate an actual dojo. Please!
