Is wwe really control freaks?

They take fans signs, tell fans they can't dress a certain way, they try to micro-manage everything, and if a performer doesn't perform well they have jbl verbally bury said performer on live television

being a control freak got Jim Ross fired. being a control freak gives us boring "superstars". being control freaks gives us the fans the same exact match every week. being control freaks is the reason why divas are in their current position of the fans not caring. being control freaks is why no new stars are created.

I believe they have legitimate reasons for doing what they do. It might seem cold and vindictive on the outside, and maybe some cases could have been handled more delicately, but in reality they do everything for the sake of their product's best interest.

Some signs can be rather hateful, not the fun and playful thing they're meant to be. WWE is so widely broadcasted, I'm sure there are many precautionary worries for being live and televised. Not to mention all the people who show up just to apparently protest a certain aspect of the WWE, like the whole deal with CM Punk. He's moved on, WWE has moved on... fans can't? That's not the spirit of the show, let alone the industry. WWE has every right to confiscate slanderous, or seemingly slanderous, material at their own show.

The deal with Rusev's lawyer, and having JBL bury him, was just a creative decision. It wasn't an important role, so I took it as a decision for how they wanted to have their character come across. I was already making my own punchlines way before JBL said anything. I assumed everything was status quo. It was better having it be funny than everything being serious, in my opinion. I think it was a good call to do it that way.

1. Professional Wrestling Never has been Nor Never will be where The Fans are The Show

There was probably a bigger reason to why signs where taken away, a single Bray Wyatt or Mankind Cosplay is fine; but an entire group of people dressed as pro wrestlers from the 80s in 2015 in the front row of a live RAW! sorry that's going to be distracting.

2. The Ascension was going nowhere, the gimmick didn't work in a bigger pond;

World Wrestling Entertainment owns the arenas, they can do whatever The hell they want to. Simple.

wow. that's really stupid of the wwe if they do all of that, and they need to be called out on it and be exposed for it. the fans should be able to bring whatever signs they want, the fans should be able to dress how they want, and the wrestlers should a bit more leeway and freedom with how to wrestle than that, and bradshaw is quite a sad, brainless tool. also, what if cena wrestles badly? would they treat cena in the same way, or would they be hypocrites and go too easy on him while not allowing that same leniency for other wrestlers?

Many bosses act like this. It's their show. It's their rules.
