You may learn a bit slow but if you are serious and work hard it will never be too late, I've seen a 60 year old man who was as good as some of the teenagers and he was there for half the time but it was because he worked hard every day, It's commitment.
There's no age limit for learning martial arts. My dad was in his 50's when he started.
No it's never too late to learn.
But....I seriously doubt you mean only "learn." You really mean is it too late to be a martial arts SENSATION, or a star ? That is is very very very unlikely...in my opinion. But even so 24 is a lot younger than 65. I'm 65 and still learning. But then I'm happy just being a nobody. I don't think that's for you. You wanna be a SOMEBODY.
Never to late to do anything. Just do your research, and find a good school. They will give anyone a blackbelt nowadays. Most martial arts schools are scams. Find local mms fighters, and ask them where they go.
Yes it is.
I say that as it's never too late to start unless you don't think you can.
So if you think 24 is too old, then it's your excuse and you won't start.
As others said any age is a good age. But I'll add only if/when you're ready.
So if you want to learn martial arts and have the time to dedicate to going to class and practicing, then it's a good age. If not your "too old" is a good excuse.
So my question to you is, are you ready, willing and able to train?
And just for the record, I started my training in my 30s, I'm a black belt in Uechi Ryu karate and keep training and teaching as I love the art and martial arts.
Nope, even 60 year old can learn Martial Arts! :] They go with their own pace.
I didn't take up martial arts until I was 35, and I competed nationally.
Wow, never too late, unless you're dead. This seems' like a common question. How about this...
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO START, EVER. I know an elderly man just started again. There's an older woman who's a brown belt. There are 8 years old training.
And next year you'll be 25.
And that's a mathematical fact, whether or not you take up martial arts now.
Now you could be 25 with one year of martial arts experience already behind you, or you could be 25 and still wondering whether you're "too old" to start learning.
Now which do you prefer?
Of course not. If you can move your arms and legs, you can do martial arts no problem, regardless of your age.
I'm 24.
you can learn any martal art at any age don,t feel that age is a problem its never to late you only get old when you stop.
I know 55 year olds taking up tkd and tai chi. If you got a able body and will why not.
Unless you're dead then its never too late to learn anything
No. I am 60 and a third black in TKD, actively training.
a wise man said ; late is better than nothing.
as long as you can move it is never too late
No.
