Is WWE racist?

Posted at: 2015-05-07
There hasn't been a Black WWE Champion in the history of the company. Only World Heavy-Weight champions. With Booker T and Mark Henry, but even then they only last like 2 months with it.

For you PG kids, I'm not sure if you recall a few years ago when HHH told Booker T that he didn't deserve to be champion because he was Black. How about when Vince thought of the "Mexicools" coming out on lawnmowers and fighting with rakes. What about Eddie and Chavo Guerrero with their racist "Lie, Cheat, and Steal" gig? Or Cryme Tyme?

Why is WWE so racist?

World Wrestling Entertainment was going to push Bobby Lashley to The WWE Championship, but a impending third wellness policy strike forced Lashley to walk away.

'It's not. Let me clear something out once and for all. Bookmark this link, folks, we're ending this here.?

The wrestling, or movie are both BUSINESSES.?

They will do what's best for BUSINESS.?

Do you know why Naomi shake her a**??

Because that's the only thing keeping you from flipping the channel/fast forwarding.?

Do you know why R-Truth raps??

He did okay at his crazy gimmick, but beep beep, that was it. Nothing more. That rapping has kept his gimmick alive.?

Here's a principle you need to learn. Seriously, read it thrice if you don't get it.?

"If John Cena looks better on camera, than Kofi Kingston, even if the reason is skin colour, then Kingston will be held back".?

If a weak guy applied for the job of your bodyguard- would you hire him? No.?

Does that mean you hate weak guys? No.?

All you want, is a strong guy to protect you- and the said weak guy was not sufficient for the job!?

The WWE will use what they think will further their company. Do you think a person with an Indian accent, even if his taking ability was better than The Rock, would get far? NO.?

That does NOT mean the WWE hates Indians- that simply means, the accent did NOT look good on TV, and therefore is not worthwhile.?

Sorry- but if you think the WWE or any other company would harm their company/money just to prove that they're not racist, you're dead wrong.?

If black skin didn't look as good as white skin on camera, it's held back.?

This is not racism; it's best for business.?

If an Indian accent didn't do as well as an American one; it's held back.?

This is not racism; it's best for business.?

If sterotypical gimmicks is what is takes for people to tune it; they're used.?

This is not racism; it's best for business.?

No one forces Naomi, or R-Truth to do what they do. Jinder Mahal came to the ring wearing a turban. Heck, I'm Indian and 99% of us don't wear a turban; but the rest of the world doesn't know that. To them- it was a fascinating gimmick; something they'd like more than a generic Indian guy.?

This is not racism; it's best for business.'- DeadManRising?

I can't believe that people are still ranting about the WWE being racist in this day and age. All you have to do is look at Bobby Lashley and it completely rips apart your entire argument.

Are you racist that the only way to prove a company or someone is not racist is by putting black people on a pedestal? What about East Asians? Or South Asians? The world ain't only for black and white people you know !

It's really pretty simple. If there were more black fans there would be more successful black wrestlers. WWE has to promote what the majority of their fan base will pay for. WWE doesn't care about any color but green for money.

Yea of course. Remember Vince is a Southerner from the Jim Crow era and has those types of negative attitudes to people of color. Look how great black talents like Kofi Kingston, Booker T, Shelton Benjamin, Junk Yard Dog and Bad News Brown got overlooked for the big prize.

There has been racism and stereotypes in wrestling, but green is the most important color of all in the business. There may be a black WWE champion who is recognizably black (the Rock doesn't count) someday.

Yes they are racist. They put stereotypes in minorities. It's sad they think that way.

The people running WWE have issues sadly.

Vince still thinks its 1950.
