Is MLB a low budget sports league?

Yes, but NHL is the lowest.

I don't understand what you're trying to get at. They play 162 games during the regular season so of course you'll play a series against another team. I don't understand your logic. I don't understand how playing the same team 2 or 3 days in a row in baseball means the NBA is "richer" than MLB.

So a NBA team can play a game in Miami on Tuesday and a game in New York on Friday. A MLB team can play a game in Miami on Tuesday and play a game in New York on Wednesday and another game on Thursday, and could end up in Chicago by Friday.

Or if the Wednesday game in New York is to makeup a rainout, they could be in Chicago on Thursday. 3 days, 3 games, 3 different cities.

They play 3 or 4 game series against an opponent.

"This tells me that NBA is richer compare to MLB." - Explain why that menas the NBA is "richer".

"They can play 1 game in Miami Heat on Tuesday, play another game on Friday at New York Knicks." Wow. They can play 2-3 games a week. What warriors. Baseball teams generally play 6 games a week.

The MLB play 162 games a year (per team) there are 30 teams in the MLB. So they have to play each team more than once. So why not play them on consecutive days. It's more reasonable than flying all the way across the country just to play one game. And is the MLB a low budget game? The highest paid player gets 28$ million a year. Not as much as NBA players, but MLB teams keep 30 guys on the team where as NBA keeps maybe 10. Hope I helped

No, MLB is not a low budget sports league.

MLB teams, minor league teams and college baseball teams play a series of games vs. the same opponent. Normal series mean facing the same team 3-4 times in a row(!). MLB teams play 162 regular season games.

NBA teams play one game vs. an opponent and the road team moves on to the next city to play another opponent. NBA teams play 82 regular season games.

You forgot to compare NFL teams, which according to your "logic", are even richer "compare"(d) to MLB and NBA. NFL teams play 16 regular season games - and only like one (1) per week! OMG

We can't be thinking about the NBA. The NBA is a Revenue sharing Welfare league. Richer teams have to give the bottom team (which is 2/3 of the league) money to stay competitive. The nba is that poor league that rigs games and moves teams when a little money is offered. Also Basketball autographs and cards are worth a sack of **** compared to Baseball memorabilia.

I suggest you go back to school, and maybe Mommy and Daddy should keep you off of the computer at night until you have a little moe common sense.

MLB is one of the richest leagues of them all, only th NFL could come close. The NBA is a 3-ring circus that has already come close to folding its et

The average annual revenue for a MLB team is $744 million. Average for NBA is $509 million.

Baseball players by far-more of them, make more money overall than basketball, the teams earn more, and most are economically viable, while several NBA teams are hurting financially.

They play twice as many games as basketball, therefore they play a series against a team instead of a different opponent each game. So your question makes no sense... It's not low budget at all.

BBQ. Answer is NO.

And you poor baby, do you still have to walk to school?

Yeah! Tenth grade is tough. Especially economics which you seem to have trouble grasping.

The MLB has a yearly income of $ 7,000,000,000. That is right! Seven Billion.

They have like face the same team twice.
