I don't know how to fight?

I agree with Elisa, true krav maga is about your survival, not belts trophies or katas just stopping your attacker by any means nesserry. and it wont take years of training to be able to use it in a real life situation

Well it's time to get started, find a school which you feel comfortable with and start learning. Goodluck and have fun!

When you have children of your own, make sure they learn wisdom is alway an overmatch for strength. You are now beginning your path to wisdom.

your method is the best method possible. one of the main things martial arts teaches is how to only fight in self defense.

The martial arts certainly can help with self confidence, but it won't alter a passive personality. You are you who are. Just bear that in mind.

School vary wide and far. Regardless of any styles, quality is key. Some of the biggest red flags to look for are schools that give little kids black belts (kids under 15 really have no business holding such a rank), regularly held testings (like every 4 months), charge an increasing amount of money for tests and belts (dyes for material don't run hundreds of dollars in difference to make), and force you to sign long term contracts.

You know better than anyone on what you'd prefer, so don't be shy about visiting a bunch of schools to see the class in action. You'll also want to pick a place that feels good to train at, with people you'll enjoy learning from. A quality teacher is important, so don't be afraid to ask as many questions that comes to mind. Hopefully you can find a satisfactory place that feels like home.

Krav Maga, its a type of fight you learn that can even be deadly, search it up i think you might be interested!

What classes can I take to improve my fighting skills. I don't wanna learn to look tough or be a bully, I really need to learn how to defend myself. All my life I was always the kid to run away from fights.

I'm now 23 and it's pretty much the same thing. I live in a pretty rough neighborhood and I need to learn to defend myself. I think it has to do with my upbringing because my parents are real religious and over protective. Not allowed to do sports or anything. so I was raised to not be aggressive. They stupidly always taught me to run away from fights and stuff.

I feel pathetic because I actually was intimidated by a 16 year old at work. Please help
