HI IS MUAY THIA GOOD FOR STREET MULTIPLE ATTACKS OR JUST THE RING CZ I WANT IT FOR SELF DEFENCE NOT A SPORT

That depends on what you train and what you are being taught. If you only train for the ring, how to comply with the rules and how to score you will have a harder time using it for self defense when everything goes and it's not a sparring match anymore.

Depends on how you use Muay Thai, it won't work for everyone it depends on how you use it and how well your trained in it.

Muay thai requires not only speed but a lot of power as well to deliver great knockouts.

Like for example, a person that uses an elbow fast with speed may just deliver a cut, and in a street fight a cut alone wont stop an attacker they'll keep coming, you have to use the elbow with speed AND great power to really damage them. Same goes for the leg kicks.

Also if you really wanna disable an attacker quick on the street, for example if you get them in a standing guillotine, throw an elbow into the back of their neck or back of their head, that'll put them down very nicely.

If you want the full arsenal of kicks knees and elbows, i'd go for Muay Boran, as Muay thai is modified for the ring, yet can still be used for self defense but its limited in attack, Muay Boran unlocks a lot more usage and angles for the kicks and knees and elbows, you'd be surprised with all the extra angles. I'm not talking do stuff like Tony Jaa, like the leg step up kick to head and the jump to shoulders and double elbow to head.

Muay Boran also doesn't just have the clinchwork like Muay thai, muay boran adds standing grappling like Hapkido. In my opinion Martial arts made for the battlefield serve you a lot better in self defense, sport versions are good too, but in self defense you'll want everything at your disposal right ?

Muay thia is good for both because it involves clinching, punching, kicking, kneeing and grappling. It's my favorite type of martial art besides wrestling. It will defintly prepare you for self defense.

Muay Thai* will help you fight multiple enemy's at once. It's one of the best and deadliest martial arts on foot.
