How to become a great infielder?

I want to become a professional ball player one day, but my fielding needs some work. Are there any drills I can practice just by myself? (I have no one to hit balls to me)

I see no one is giving a decent answer so I'll offer one up. First off, make sure you've got a good (not crazy) throwing and stretching program. A stronger, more accurate arm always helps. Second, make sure you can pick short hops in your sleep. You can do a drill with a partner and just toss each other short hops from 10 feet away on your knees.

Once you can field most balls cleanly and have can make the throws, you need to focus on footwork. You need to always be getting your body in position to make the throw. Don't field a ball, stand up, and throw it--it's one continuous motion that puts you in position to make the throw. Learn the angles and how to approach a ball hit at different speeds and different sides of you, again with your momentum taking you where need to throw.

Just have someone come out with a bat, doesn't have to be anyone with any skill, and have them throw a ball up and hit it lightly in your direction. I feel like this simulates best what it's like to actually field

Watch everything Derek Jeter does and do the exact opposite.

I suggest you quit school and spend all your time practicing.
