most outfielders can throw in the 80's sometimes 90's if they have a real good arm. rick ankiel who was a former pitcher has an incredible arm. he could throw mid 90's when he pitched. when the ball is first released, most outfielder can throw around 90 but the ball slows to around 40 or 50 depending on how far they throw. Catchers usually have good arms and can hit around 90.
My uneducated guess would be on average, high 80s. I know watching some of the elite 3B and SSs play, that when they fire across the diamond, you can guess they're throwing mid 90s.
some players can throw just as hard as the pitchers, usually SS or OF. but for the most part pitchers throw harder
Ik Jeter and arod use to be able to throw 94 and Cano probably could hit 96 if he wanted
I already know college/pro-level pitchers can throw an easy 85mph+ fastball but what about the other position players? Outfielders?
