I'm more of a relaxed person. The thing is, I'm in a relaxed state, but my adrenaline is still fuming throughout my body. I'll hit and pitch like I never could in practice. Adrenaline is a powerful tool.
Work on being mentally prepared as well as physically. Be able to make adjustments
as needed depending on situations that occur. Approach the game 1 pitch at a time.
Honestly I don't really do a while lot to get ready for a game. I just kinda leave school go get food and sit in the dugout and eat it. Then I get dressed and maybe listen to a little music then go warm up with my team.
calm your mind relax and breathe. concentrate on the game not your anger.
I am a pitcher and I used to like to play really relaxed and in control. However, my last outing I got pissed at the batter and was able to hump up my fastball about 5 mph faster than I usually do. After I threw that pitch I felt adrenaline flowing ridiculously high for a baseball game and proceeded to pitch well after that. Baseball is what I play so it may not be relevant, but do you like to be amped up and get the adrenaline coursing or take a laid back, fluid and methodic approach?
