How can I stop making errors in Baseball?

One thing I always use on hard hit ground balls is something I see a few mlb outfielders do, where you drop to one knee and get really low with your hands. I have done this in games countless times for my school and travel teams and never missed a grounder. As for throwing, just make sure you get loose enough and if you can't make the throw switch to second base or take a crow hop.

Watch tape on YouTube of great defensive third basemen and short shops. Chipper Jones was a great third baseman and for shortstops you should watch Ozzie Smith, Derek Jeter, and Cal Ripken.

Make sure your glove is on the ground and have fun if you have to dive but you don't that means your not having fun but if you were playing wiffle ball with friends i doubt any errors would be made there because your having fun

Someone who is good at their position wouldn't constantly be making errors. That's basically the exact opposite of what it means.

I could be a gold glove MLB player right now if it wasn't for all the errors I'd make.

Practice taking ground balls. The trick that I always loved for practice was to take a tennis ball and bounce it off a closed garage door so the it rolls or one hops to me. The big tricks are to stay in front of the ball, keep your glove down between your legs, and get low. Don't think about the throw until you have the ball in your glove.

Dont give up.....keep the aggression going...hussle as fast as you can ......if it keeps going between your legs...bend down on one knee and block....anything to stop that ball...

No wonder. Since you're playing shortstop and 3rd base, you can't possibly cover and get everything hit between 2nd and 3rd. Ask one of your friends to join you on that side of the infield.

Stop playing baseball, or become a DH.

Just practice. You can never take too many ground balls. Baseball takes a lot of practice and a lot of devotion if you want to make less errors you just have to work hard and getter at fielding balls in practice.

I play on the JV baseball team and I play shortstop and 3rd base. I constantly make errors where balls go through my legs and I make bad throws. I'm good at my position, except I make errors every know and then that cost us the game. How can I stop making these errors?
