Have you ever stood in against a 95MPH fastball?

yes, in high school we faced two guys who threw 92-95 (both got drafted and one is in the pros). You basically have to start your swing (step and start turning your hips) when the pitchers leg is coming down. Problem when doing that is when they decide to snap off a curve ball and you look even worse than being very late on the fastball.

My Dad Hit Me With A 82MPH Pitch It Hurt

No, that would hurt, but I'd go down swinging, and if I happen to connect..bye, bye, baby, I'm running for home!

Yes, they were actually a little faster at times. After getting a few of those and then a 65 MPH change up or knuckler can make a guy look like a little league reject.

90mph. I have several friends I grew up with that became major league pitchers that I would play baseball with. Catching a 80+mph knuckleball is a lot of fun, with it jumping around you feel relieved it didn't nail you between the eyes or in the gut when you catch it.

Only in a batting cage with a machine, actually 100 was the fastest. I never played above the high school level, I never saw a person actually throw a fastball at me anywhere near those speeds. Back when I was in school radar guns were not used. Hitting any well thrown pitch whether it is fast, a slider or a curve is no simple task though

Nope. I try to avoid those.

Batting cage, yes.

Highest setting always.

Anything less is boring and pointless.

First time you see it you pee a little bit...its pretty scary

Well, have you?
