Well it depends who uses their resources better. If the fast guy is running into punches with his blazing speed, he's not doing any good with it. If the big guy doesn't know how to move effectively, then he's probably going to tire out.
Usually, speed always has the advantage and if I had to pick between being either the fast guy in a fight or the strong guy in the fight, I'm going with the fast guy every time.
Anybody that thinks that being stronger makes you slower needs their head examined. You don't get faster punches by getting weaker, you train for them and training will make you stronger at the same time. The two attributes aren't mutually exclusive, they're complimentary.
Which one is smarter? using good sound strategy is most likely to win the fight.
1,000 "Quick" attacks with minimal power will increase the damage over time, as opposed to 1 "Strong" attack that may never get landed.
My friend said that fast guys always win in a fight and strong guys are too slow to do anything. I would say the opposite. Fast guys cant hit hard enough to matter and a strong guy would knock out the fast guy in one punch. Think manny paquaio(fast guy) vs dwayne johnson(strong guy) both are equally skilled at fighting.
