Best takedown for a real fight?

The one that you are good at using is the best one or ones.

I wouldn't advice someone to take a fight to the ground in a street fight unless he's down n ure standing. This is due to the fact that people may get involved because that is where ure most vulnerable. Getting kicked in the head isn't fun n will most likely knock u out.

The one that they've opened themself up to by your standards.

If you get in a fight and don't believe that they've opened themself up to a throw or takedown then don't do it because it probably won't work no matter what it's called.

Trying to pre determine what you will do before a fight will only get you in trouble. You do what the situation calls for otherwise you will be just trying to set up your pre determined "move" instead of ending the fight, getting out of a fight or getting beat up waiting for your chance to do that one move you so badly want to do.

i like throws so u dont risk a knee to the head

Ikkyo or iriminage.

Like a 1 on 1 fight, both unarmed, in the street, maybe a schoolyard, a bar or something like that.

I would imagine that most people who will try to pick a fight with you in real life would be bullies and the like. Probably untrained but aggressive.

Assuming this, what would be the most effective takedown or throw in such a situation?

I always thought a blast double leg, body lock takedown or some sort of osotogari or kosotogari type thing would be best, because they are simple, quick and easy to do. They can be countered but most people you'll encounter in real life probably won't have a good idea how to defend against it.

What are your ideas?
