BASEBALL: What would you say if Ryan Braun called you?

I would talk to him like a human and not be an immature jerk. I would be amused if Braun called, accept his apology, say thank you and hang up.

I also found this post very funny. From "hustleandflomax" user on Sep 6, 2013 at 10:36 AM at http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/0...

"

You brave keyboard warriors that have such stones behind a cloak of anonymity are just SO inspiring. Really, congratulations for being such a stand-up human being to tell a guy to “F off” for apologizing as if he owes you ANYthing.

"

---I understand this comment may ruffle some feathers because it is a realization for some.

Yes, what Ryan Braun did was wrong... but being bitter and hateful only hurts the sadistic individual. Forgiveness will go a long way.

He's putting in so much work to right a wrong, when it all could have been avoided if he admitted to it in the place, and refrained from blaming the system and trashing the courier's reputation. I wouldn't/couldn't accept the apology from a man who could so easily look at the whole world and passionately claim with all his heart that he hadn't done something when he actually had. His apology is empty words.

I would say that "I'm dissapointed in you and I'm not gonna believe anything you say. Last spring, you spoke so calmy and sincere after you won your appeal against MLB but now I know that you know you really tested positive. Until you tell us everything you know, NOTHING you say now, or in the near-future can make me forgive you".

Note: It's hard for me to be unbiased because I'm a Pirates fan. Who knows how many Brewers-Pirates games Braun was 'juiced' for. If he wasn't juiced, could the Pirates have not tanked last year and perhaps got to the playoffs sooner than this year? It makes me mad.

Well I'm a Brewer fan and I'm assuming he would not call every call every one of us personally.

Keeping composure, I might say how extremely disappointed I was by his serial use of PEDS. However as a fan, I would offer my support for a 30 yo player still under contract and likely to be counted on in Milwaukee for the next 7-8 years.

I'm a fan and I'm not going against my own team.

I can only hope that Milwaukee season ticket holders are as insulted by this obvious public relations ploy as I am. I'd tell Braun to do the world a favor and kill himself. Nobody gives a rat's @ss about his "apology".

I would listen to what he had to say, and then thank him for his call, you never act anyway other than professional when talking on the phone. Learn some manners and etiquette for a change.

I would listen to what he had to say and than him for calling, just like I do with anyone else who calls. The phone is no place to vent your hostilities, only an imbecile would do that.

I would say, "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to that poor working class schlep whose reputation you publicly besmirched. I hope he sues you for everything you have. Anyway, have a nice life, bro."

I would invite to my house for a brew.

I would tell him to piss off. Go bother someone else.

So on Friday Ryan Braun called Brewers season-ticket holders to apologize for using PEDS. What would you say if he called you? Would you be happy that Ryan Braun was calling you.Would you accept the apologize. Asked him for money because of the season tickets that you spend. Ask him questions. Or just call him a piece of crap. What would you say to Ryan Braun?

Leave me alone

tell him to have my babies

I would tell him, "Go Reds!"
