Nobody flat out wins the Olympics. A medal count isn't exactly the best way to judge a particular countries' ability. For instance, if a country is dominant at swimming in general, there's a -ton- of medals for that, but something like shooting has only 2.

Nobody wins the olympics, it's just individual athletes or teams winning events. The medals table is unfair because bigger populated countries are always on top and they have a huge advantage.

The Independant Team

The UK; as a hosting nation and as the people is very much fond of sports. But on different competitions different nations for sure win, as Ethiopians win the long distance running.

I think it would be nice to see one of the smaller countries win a medal in a couple of the events, instead of the larger countries dominating. Overall, I've heard China are being somewhat feisty.

Team USA or Team Great Britain.

I don't want to see the British taxpayer lose - a forlorn hope.
