Yo your only 13 and 5'8 your tall MMA trainers would love you and fatten you up (like Allister Overeem) but, anyway i been Mauy Thai and Judo since 10, I'm 17, but both football and MMA will have health risks competition is brutal i never lost because well I'm a 6'1 1/2 17 year old who benches 300 so I'm basically pound you but do it for self defense and not competition concussions are no fun, might be the same with football you could get paralyzed so yeah

Just a bit of advice

Try mma out before you jump into it completely. In other words don't throw all your eggs into one basket

You're also the most eloquent 13 year i have ever encountered on this site.

So go and try it out and see what you think of it. It looks cool on TV but it's less cool in real life.

UFC is rigor for Mma.

Want to quit football but....I've always wanted to do mma as a little kid but I never told my parents.Last year I started football,I was really could ( even though I was just a offensive guard) anyways I want to quit to do mma for a few reasons 1.i have planter fasciitis ( I know you have to run in mma to condition but football is constant)

2.my brothers will hate me if I quit, they love me when I play football, then one day I told them I wanted to do mma(they laughed cause I'm just a bit overweight 5'8 165, but look at Roy Nelson)

3.my coaches new my 2 older brothers and loved them and are expected me to stay with football(my coaches are the type were if you quit they want nothing to do with you.

I'm currently 13 any advice

Update : The first sentence should have been good instead of could
