i am thinking about taking up two martial arts for striking i have decided muay thai but for ground fighting i dont know what to go for i am 13 by the way

I'd go Judo, if you need to know why then visit a dojo and watch a class.

Jas Key hit the nail on the head for sure. That is exactly what i would do.

BJJ is more efficient!

Basically I heard that training forms and weights that are light is better because some martial instructors or students think if you put the person in the hospital you can end surveilence or you can make the person start over so he can learn what he is not to because he didnt want to know their exact thought even when he tried but they never care if his blood was pure and he want to learn.

do all three

judo for the slams and stand up grappling

bjj for the submissions

wrestling for the takedowns

Shoot, with the money you have to burn, why not just hire bodyguards?

It's all wrestling... Do the Greco Roman, it's free at school.

While you are in school I would take advantage of the free wrestling program that you can get from your school. After you graduate you can try bjj or judo classes and decide then.
