Would you ever use Capoeira in a street fight?

In case of self-defense, would you use it?

What would you say are the fortes and drawbacks of Capoeira?

If I knew it better I would.

What I like about it is its deceptive nature. It is really good at disguising what their next move is. You think one thing is going on and the next thing you know you have been kicked. You don't even know where it came from. The draw back would be personal for me. I'm not sure that I could use it today like I could if it were 7 or more years ago. I was injured in a car accident. This left me with some injuries that affect me today. It limits me in what I can do in my style. I could be wrong, but I believe it would limit me even more in that style.

Unlike perfectlybaked I was never that fast. With the injuries I can't run at all. So I would have to end the threat right then and there.

Yes I would if I was taught under a good teacher. Most of its crap there supposed to be low down explosive unpredictable ground fighters primary of there back. The use there movement to open up kicks agianst stand up treats and have a vicious sets of neck locks and up kicks for grappling threats. Most of its just crap and has no wrestling or luta lereve what so ever and is just dance.

My go-to would be either good ol' boxing or flight...

I can run the 40 in 4 so that option isn't off the table in any case.

Nope but I don't know it and have no desire to learn it.

Now I will say that for someone who knows it it can be very effective. I know this as I had a friend that studied it and sparring him was brutal as it was almost impossible to get in on him which is my preference.

No, bc I don't know much of it. I'd probably end up hurting myself than anybody else.

But I still understand the art can be very effective when done properly.

Take a look at this, it may surprise you:

I don't remember enought of it to use,

But I do know people that have used it successful

Would I? No, I wouldn't.

yes, you can in street fight but not against all rounded trained fighter (like gsp)

i like muay thai and judo combination for street and ring

In case of self-defense, would you use it?
