Wing Chun or Kyokushin School?

This is a tough one as i am a student of both Wing Chun & Kyokushin and both have upsides & downsides. Ultimately it depends what you want in the long run. Wing Chun due to its simplicity & efficiency is relatively easy on the body, giving you the opportunity to train well into your 80's. The downside is that it is hard to test your capabilities in a full contact setting, leaving many practitioners completely clueless in the face of an attacking opponent. Kyokushin however takes the opposite approach. It prepares your body & mind for full contact combat & can be tested frequently. The downside is that it does take a toll on your body in the long run. There are always exceptions, but for the most part surgeries and arthritis are commonplace for long time Kyokushin practitioners. In conclusion, both are effective arts that will benefit you...the choice you have to make is which benefit you want more.

All the best.

(I won't pass judgement on the instructors, as a website is not an accurate representation of ones skills or teaching capabilities)

Do you like getting hit? Do you enjoy "contact" sports like football?

Then the Kyokushin is for you... A very "hard" style with lots of full-contact sparring, breaking, etc. You can find plenty of YouTube videos of matches.

If you don't want to be nursing bruises all the time... Then perhaps Wing Chun.

I wouldn't pick either style for practical fighting...

If you want health then a good program of aerobic exercise supplemented with resistance work is about perfect.

For self-defense, a dedicated defense system. I likely would not choose any traditional martial art.

While I don't agree with Eddie I thumbed up his answer because of this...

Is not easy to tell from their websites what they do. The one seems to market himself as a military man with combat experience and good martial arts training in China that balances the martial with the art element. The other seems to market himself as a healer with good martial arts training that balances the martial element with the health and other positive elements. Both of them know how to market decently but how can we know what they do?

I have both options available to me, both seem like great schools with legit instructors:

http://www.genjikai.com/MakioNishida.html KyoKushin based style

http://www.authentickungfu.com/about_sifu.html Wing Chun

Looking for the most comprehensive style for health and defense. Cottrell (Wing Chun) I know is legit but Mashida (Kyokushin) seems legit, also.

What I am looking for is your opinion and informative response on the instructor and style.

Thanks
