Floyd is the best fighter on the planet, and he knows how to market himself, so those things combine into major PPV numbers.
The UFC doesn't have anyone like that. Brock Lesnar was BY FA their biggest draw, and UFC 100 (their biggest event, headlined by Lesnar) was the most buys they've ever sold and it was something like 1.5 or 1.6 million.
No UFC will break the numbers that boxing has done over the yeas, at least in the near future.
None of the fighters in the UFC know how to promote a fight like Floyd. Brock was able to draw because he had his pro wrestling background and brought a new audience, but he didn't really promote like Floyd has. Floyd was able to break into the casual fan demographic very successfully using All Access and his antics such as buying, driving expensive cars and spending large amounts of money. This kind of promotion draws casual and hardcore fans to his fights. Ronda and Jones have broken into the casual fan demographic but not to the extent that Floyd has.
why cause the ufc wont take a wholew year to promote 1 fight there more consistent then boxing this is facts they have way more ppvs like atleast 1 a month. mayweather himself is the greatest fight promoter ever. and naw i feel casual ufc fans could easily know chad mendez like a casual boxing fan would know keith thirman , hes keith thurman famous.
Boxing is a global sport, UFC isn't quite there yet.

I just watched a YouTube video where Chad "money" Mendez says he is the real "Money" and he would destroy Floyd in mma. Well that's true but that's not Floyds sport he doesn't train for that. I bet Chad Mendez wont get in that boxing ring though. And why do MMA fighters say Floyd won't fight them in mma when Floyd is way more famous and makes 5 times as much for one fight than any of these mma fighters make there whole career lol. Im gonna come to your sports so I can make wayy less money. Yeah that makes since. Plus Floyd does way more in ppv buys and total revenue and is way more famous, so why would a guy like Mendez say he's the real Money? Fact is I hear people asking him about Floyd Money Mayweather, I don't hear people asking Floyd Mayweather about Chad Mendez because neither Floyd or anyone else outside of hardcore mma fans know or cares who Chad "Money" Mendez is. Chad Mendez will be the real Money once his fights start generating more money than Floyds. And that will be NEVER!
