I think that if Lyoto Machida fought weidman, Machida would won. Having been in the light heavyweight division for years, he is used to much harder opponents. I think Machida would win this one.
Belfort and Machida have the best chance.
Also Weidman and Uriah Hall have fought before, Weidman won via TKO after landing a left hook on Hall.

just wanna hear some opinions. as u probably know now, the Anderson Silva era is over. chris weidman is the real deal but i think that he is beatable. to me his style just matched well with andersons. some names that come to mind that could POSSIBLY beat him are vitor belefort, machida, jacare souza, and uriah hall.
Vitor- has been on a tear lately. possibly the fighter of the year. im not saying he will do it but he is definitely a threat.
Machida- machida is one of the most technical strikers in the ufc. his take down defense is also really good. i would be intersted in seeing this.
Souza- Im new to Souza. only seen maybe 4 of his fights but this guy is an absolute maniac. idk too much about him skill wise like how good his tdd is or his striking or even what his major weapon is (bjj?) but he is entertaining and id love to watch it.
Hall- ok ill probably get crap for this one but no one can stop Uriah Hall but himself. i understand that chris weidman KOd him the first time that they fought but that was a while ago. he has obviously grown. he was insane on TUF and had a really impressive win over Leben almost going untouched.
