I have to agree with you and MacDonald not only showed the really good technician that he is when it comes to fighting but also once again that his mental and physical toughness goes way beyond his youthful appearance. He looks like anything but a fighter really but the way he came back after losing the first round and taking the punishment he did to win the second and third rounds like he did showed his is a tough fighter as well as a good fighter with skills. His appearance and demeanor really belie his ability and toughness as a fighter and his next fight against any of those you mentioned I think he will win also.

Well, what about the winner of the Lawlor-Hendricks fight? That might have been a MacDonald-Hendricks fight had MacDonald beat Lawlor.

I think if he can get motivated again he can become champ. I was actually impressed with him against Maia cause he was able to escape bad situations on the ground against the best ground fighter in MMA.

I would like to see Rory MacDonald fight Stephen Thompson next, or get Matt Brown I think he would win both fights and most likely by stoppage.
