from history sokon matsumura, he was one of the greatest martial artist of his time. unarmed he could strike fear into a room full of armed samurai. he not only understood all areas of martial arts, but anatomy, philology and tactics. he only lost one fight and he later trained and incorporated that persons techniques and tactics into his style.

from life i would say a few of my instructors have, particularly my third and forth one.

Hm....many, but two major very early influences, are from the ones that I know my grandfather and from the historical ones Dienekes.

They have some things in common, the right spirit and the prove of it in actual situations against what many are considering the very very high impossible.

They have contributed by that, heavily on me and others, being alive now and have the civilization that we have, and that is what I consider as important.

My Bujinkan instructor.

He made a real mess out of my training but getting the same moves I learned from him relearned so they actually work is just mind blowing.

Doesn't that put you out of the running KW? We all know you're a superstar pretending to be a mushi bushi.

Bruce Lee, Bill Wallace and Rickson Gracie for me.

Bruce lee and Fedor Emelianenko

Raoh from Fist of the North Star! I will take control of the World!

I want to Know who has truly inspired you during your years of training? Not superstars or athletes i mean just regular everyday people who just inspire you and add that spark to you that makes you realize the beauty of martial arts and the beauty of the human spirit and courage.

For me personally there has been 2 people...

My father he taught me everything, he was beautiful and lost to this world last year but he lives inside the hearts of many people. He was the wisest and most compassionate person i have ever had the privilege of knowing.

The other person is a very very special person a girl that trained Judo with me when we were younger. She was bullied for suffering from Cerebral palsy after her twin brother and she suffered a stroke during birth. she didn't talk until she was 8 years old. she was amazing but just had such a hard time. she was so lethargic as she struggled with muscular problems but still persevered to be the best she could be. She never gave in, she fought so hard to prove to the world that she could do it. I recently found out she is about to receive her Black belt and i have never been prouder of anyone in my entire life. To me she was the embodiment of passion, pride and will power. She is my friend and a true inspiration to me.

So who is the person that has inspired that feeling in you and the person that you just look at in complete awe. The people who are the real champions in your eyes? a student/ training partner/ instructor/ friend/ family?
