Which martial art is good for me?

Your body type, etc has nothing to do with what art in which to train. You learn to use whatever you may have as you train. You will learn to use your understanding of human anatomy to stop the attackers. The human body can only move, bend, twist, etc in some many directions. When you understand this you learn to get better at using technique instead of power, speed, or strength. The human body has weaknesses. We learn to exploit them.

It is best to find a good instructor. Never choose a style. If the instructor is not very good you won;t learn much. But if the instructor is good your possibilities or endless.

Capoeira if you can find it. Most people think its crap because its a dance as well but the whole art was meant to be hidden as a dance and its very great cross over for a parkour runner. I was into it for a summer and loved it. It will make you very flexible and evasive. Also to any who want to say its dumb or not lethal at all. Understand that Capoeira is one of the few martial arts that was temporarily outlawed for inflicting too many deaths in Brazil underground. Capoeira sounds like a great fit for you since you want to get into parkour. enjoy

Judo (you use your opponents weight against them) and/or jiu jitsu. Boxing can also help.

im a 18 year old boy and i want to learn martial arts but i donno which one is for me.

im 5 ft 8 or 9 inches

im 140 pounds
