Which is better chi kung or chi gung

I think chi gung

Different dialect pronunciations in China, depending on where people were born. That's the difference.

In China they use a system of writing called Pinyon, especially for computers and cellphones. It converts the phonetic sounds spelled in the english alphabet into traditional characters. Chi Kung, Chi Gung, Qi Gung, Qi Gong...Etc, are all the same thing. Different places will have slightly different Pinyon spellings for the same word. That being said the most common and standard spelling that I always see is "Qi Gong." So if you want to call it anything, call it Qi Gong because it's the most common usage of the word.

Darth is absolutely correct... There are different ways to spell Chinese words depending on the system of "Romanization" used.

Used to be rendered as "Chi Kung" many years ago, just as "Beijing" was spelled "Peking" and "Bagua" was spelled "Pa Kua".

Also...Chi gung (or gong or whatever you like) is little more than a spiritual cult... Avoid.

What a bunch of idiots answering questions on this forum.

Chi Kung, Chi Gung, Qigung and Qigong are all the same thing.

Qi Gong is the best
