Which combo of martial arts should i take?

Muay thai and taekwondo

OR

muay thai and kyokushin karate?

Take Muay Thai and karate, I've taken several different kinds of martial arts and although taekwondo was decent, it, was all just a bunch of kicks, I've taken karate for about 5 years now and it's a lot more beneficial than taekwondo.. But in all honesty, you would be better off with boxing, a good boxer could beat a martial arts guy any day!

Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. There is no reason to pair 2 stand up striking arts, as if you got taken down, you would be screwed. Most Jiu Jitsu gyms have Muay Thai and vice versa.

DO NOT start with multiple martial arts.

It's hard enough to learn one as a beginner. Two will just slow down your learning and probably frustrate you to the point of quitting both.

Learn one and then once you get good then think about adding another.

I don't really see the point in taking two stand up arts at one time. It's just going to screw with your head, especially in the beginning. You would be better off with taking a stand up art and a ground art.

You find the best teachers to train with. Don't worry about the style. Good teachers make a world of difference if you want to learn. Any style is a waste of time if you have a teacher who has not clue how to teach even if he is a good martial artist himself. So you need to check out the schools yourself and see who is the better teacher.

Figure out what the best school available to you is and learn whatever they're teaching.

I wanted to do Kyokushin Karate after finding out by way of the absolute beatings I got in one of their open tournaments how badly I'd been trained in a Bujinkan school but the only Kyokushin school nearby was run by a guy who had no interest in competitions, disliked getting students from other teachers and ran a very insular school, so I joined a Goju ryu Karate school with a teacher that was interested in anything and helped students prepare for any competition they wanted to go in no matter what the rules or who hosted it.

bad idea.learn one at a time.if you get bored or loose interest on that one or feel more interesing about another one, take that one
